What the room held that night

The Wayne Johnson Community Center filled with more than one generation: children in boots, elders in hats, veterans asked to stand while Harold Cash read in honor of the flag. The National Anthem and the Black national anthem were both sung. Then the awards - buckles, trophies, scholarships - and a promise that this induction will not be the last.
